The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:
Gordon Way Oquist, 35 of Mahnomen, for felony firearm violation as a felon convicted of a crime of violence.
Danielle Lamae Rasmussen, 28 of Crookston, for misdemeanor failure to appear. Released to another agency.
Johnathan James Love, 41 of Fisher, for a gross misdemeanor traffic violation. Driving after cancellation.
Fire calls:
At 5:40 Wednesday evening the Crookston Fire Department responded to a burning complaint on the 300 block of South Ash Street. They informed the owner of the city ordinance against burning leaves, the owner extinguished the fire, and they cleared the scene.
Minutes later, at 5:55, they responded to an elevator alarm at the Crookston Sports Center. They found it to be an accidental activation.
