The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:
Jeffrey David Carmichael, 39 of Mahnomen, on a petty misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia. Released on personal recognizance.
Joseph Marvin Goulet Jr, 28 of Fosston, for misdemeanor domestic assault. Commits act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death. Released on personal recognizance.
Shayna Marie Glaser, 31 of Grand Forks, for misdemeanor contempt of court for refusing to be sworn in as witness or answer. Bail supplied.
Fire calls:
On Tuesday at 8:26 a.m., the Crookston Fire Department was called to the 100 block of South Broadway for a hot electrical smell. The source was a deep freeze, the unit was unplugged, and the matter turned over to staff.
At 8:30 p.m., they responded to an alarm pull at 111 ½ West Robert. They investigated, found no danger, reset the alarm, and turned the matter over to the Crookston Police Department.
