The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:
Raphael Vargas, 28 of East Grand Forks, for misdemeanor contempt of court for willful disobedience of a court mandate. Released on personal recognizance.
David John Bieniski, 71 of Warren, for felony domestic assault. Released on personal recognizance.
Nimo Mohamed Khalif, 33 of East Grand Forks, for felony malicious punishment of a child. Released on personal recognizance.
Tristan August Brown, 23 of Crookston, for misdemeanor domestic assault.
Fire Calls:
At 1:26 Wednesday afternoon, the Crookston Fire Department responded to Oak Court for a general smoke alarm that was found to have been set off by cleaning.
