The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:
Marisa Lyn Perry, 32 of Mentor, for felony 2nd-degree burglary of a dwelling.
Shauna Lea Kamrowski, 46, for felony domestic assault.
Tyler James Skogen, 35, for gross misdemeanor possession of a schedule 5 substance. Released to another authority.
Derrick Dewayne Wilkerson, 43 of East Grand Forks, for a felony DUI.
The Crookston Fire Department responded to the following calls on 3/22/2021:
At 10:32 a.m., the CFD responded to the 300 block of Lincoln Ave for a CO detector activation. Upon investigation, it was determined that the activation was caused by a low battery. CFD advised the homeowner to replace batteries and cleared the scene.
At 2:13 p.m., the CFD responded to the 800 block of Fisher Ave for an alarm activation. Upon investigation, it was determined that the activation was caused by steam. No danger was present. CFD reset the panel and cleared the scene.
At 7:49 p.m., the CFD responded to the Robert St bridge to assist with receiving a backpack that ended up on the ice on the river. CFD retrieved the backpack safely and cleared the scene.
