The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:
Bobby Jo Hernandez, 27 of Grand Forks, ND, for a gross misdemeanor traffic violation for driving after cancelation. Bail supplied.
Rigoberto Tovar, 44 of Halstad, for misdemeanor domestic assault. Released on personal recognizance.
Dawn Marie Iverson, 60 of Fosston, for misdemeanor domestic assault.
Scott Anthony Fashingbauer, 32 of Grand Forks, ND, for felony 5th-degree possession, procurement, or control of a controlled substance.
Sarah Jane Stewart, 30 of Grand Forks, ND, for felony 5th-degree possession, procurement, or control of a controlled substance.
Tara Jane Anderson, 27 of Grand Forks, ND, for felony 3rd-degree burglary.
Michael James Hobus, 55 of East Grand Forks, for felony 3rd-degree possession of amphetamines in a school, park, or public housing zone.
The Crookston Fire Department responded to the following calls on August 31st, 2020:
7:13 p.m. – Hwy 75 South, responded to a general fire alarm activation. Upon arrival, met by personnel who had investigated the cause of the alarm and had it under control. Turned it over to them and left the scene.
7:02 p.m. – Responded to a two-vehicle accident at 4th Ave S and Marshall St. in Crookston. Upon arrival, one driver was being treated, while the other driver sustained only minor injuries. Disconnected car batteries, and provided traffic control. Once cleared by law enforcement, cleared the scene.
