Arrest/Fire Report – Tuesday, September 17, 2019

The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:

Rodrigo Rodriguez Jr, 39 of Grand Forks, ND, for misdemeanor fleeing a peace officer by means other than a motor vehicle.

Miguel Jose Macias, 28 of Ada, for felony 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct for penetration or contact with a person under 13 and greater than 36 months.

Norman Lee Owen, 57 of El Paso, Tx, as a felony fugitive from another state.

Valerie Saucedo, 22, for misdemeanor disorderly conduct.  Released on personal recognizance.

Elizabeth Ashley Heim, 28 of Twin Valley, as a felony fugitive from another state. 

Jasmine Joanne Bishop, 25 of Crookston, for gross misdemeanor 3rd-degree damage to property reducing value $501-$1,000. 

Fire Calls:

On Monday, the Crookston Fire Department responded to the University of Minnesota, Crookston, at 11:48 a.m. and at 12:26 p.m. for the same malfunction. Maintenance will be getting it fixed.

At 8:40 p.m., they responded to a smoke detector sounding in an unoccupied apartment on the 1200 block of North Front. Investigation found a detector had gone bad, it was left for the owner to get replaced.
