The Crookston Fire Department responded to the following calls on 12/29/2020:
At 4:05 p.m., the CFD was called to the corner of Broadway and Robert St. for a two-vehicle accident. Both vehicles had moderate damage. The CFD assisted Crookston Police with traffic control and cleaning up debris, and then cleared the scene.
At 5:20 p.m., the CFD was called to the 500 block of Ingersoll Ave for a fire alarm and water flow activation. Upon investigation, it was found a sprinkler head had been damaged, which had caused the water flow. The CFD turned the water off, reset the panel, and cleared the scene.
At 6:27 p.m., the CFD was called to the 1200 block of Barrette St. for an alarm activation. Upon investigation, it was found that the cause was burnt food. The CFD ventilated the apartment and cleared the scene.
