The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:
Fatumo Mahamed Abdi, 33 of Fargo, ND, for misdemeanor giving a police officer a false name, birth date, or id card.
Samuel Paul Scott, 31 of Fertile, for gross misdemeanor possession of a schedule 5 controlled substance.
Shawn Anthony Schafer, 30 of Oklee, for misdemeanor domestic assault.
Tyler Jordon Sargent, 33 of MN, for misdemeanor fraud for a driver’s license, use of a fictitious name, date of birth, false statements, or concealed material fact.
The Crookston Fire Department responded to the following calls on 2/24/2021:
At 2:48 a.m., the CFD responded to the 700 block 3rd Ave NE for a potential Carbon Monoxide situation. Upon investigation, all detectors were tested, and no carbon monoxide was present and the area was deemed safe. CFD then cleared the scene.
