The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals:
Samuel Alejondro Torrez, 37 of Warren, for felony 2nd-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.
Daniel Keith McGuire, 37 of Chehalis, WA, for felony 1st-degree possession of 25 grams or more of cocaine, heroin, or methamphetamine.
The Crookston Fire Department responded to the following calls on 3/31/2021:
At 10:14 a.m., the CFD was called to the 2900 block of University Ave for an alarm activation. Upon investigation, it was found that some dust from a shop vac had activated the alarm and there was no danger present. CFD reset the panel, turned over control to staff, and cleared the scene.
