The 2021 Crookston Ox Cart Days Lip Sync Battle was Thursday night on the Downtown Square Stage. The rain held off, making it a beautiful way to end Day 4 of Festivities.
The crowd was packed for the event and Aryanna Ostgaard took home first place with the performance of “We are never ever getting back together” by Taylor Swift. Her first-place prize was $200
The Rocking Rollers featuring Nolan Kuchan, Asher Vigness, Bladen Melsa, Beau Smith, Harrison Cameron, and Jameson Reese won second place with a montage of songs featuring Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, and Queen. Their second-place prize was $100.
It was the first time in the event’s history that they’ve awarded two places.
The event was sponsored by The Crookston Times, Taco Johns in Crookston, and UMC Admissions.
