David Threatt (11th-grade horn) was selected to participate in this year’s UND Honor Band, Choir & Strings Festival in January. David auditioned for this ensemble in the fall and participated in a three-day event hosted by UND.
On Saturday, February 18, Crookston hosted its first varsity speech tournament, with nine teams competing. Competing at the tournament included: Blackduck, Breckenridge, East Grand Forks, Fosston/Bagley, Red Lake County, Roseau, Thief River Falls, Warroad, and Crookston. In total, 83 students competed in 90 events, with all 13 MSHSL Speech categories represented. Crookston finished second place
