PERMITS BEING FINALIZED, POSSIBLE GROUNDBREAKING THIS FALL EPITOME ENERGY CEO TELLS CHEDA BOARD

The Crookston Housing and Economic Development Authority (CHEDA) Board met Tuesday morning approving three invoices for permitting for Epitome Energy and received an update from Epitome Energy CEO Dennis Egan, who joined the meeting virtually. The invoices were to Wenck Associates (2 invoices) and Sunde Engineering; the two companies contracted to complete the permitting process.

MNDOT URGES DRIVERS TO WATCH FOR WORKERS AS PRESCRIBED BURNS BEGIN ON NW MN HIGHWAYS

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be conducting prescribed burns near Highways 59, 75 and 102 in northwestern Minnesota this spring as weather conditions permit. Tentatively, crews are planning to conduct controlled burns: March 17: near Highway 102 between mile markers 5 and 15 southeast of Crookston March 18-19: near Highway 75 between mile markers

B COMPANY OF MINNESOTA NATIONAL GUARD DEPARTS CROOKSTON FOR TOUR

The soldiers of B Company from the Crookston Armory departed Tuesday afternoon with an escort from the Crookston Police Department, Crookston Fire Department, Crookston Ambulance, Polk County Sheriff’s Office, and Minnesota State Patrol. They will head to training in Texas before deploying to Kuwait.
