Orphie S. Vraa of Crookston, MN, died March 24, 2025 at the age of 97. She was born in Froid, MT on October 26, 1927, the daughter of Gilbert and Alma (Wold) Vraa. The family farmed in Montana on land that was homesteaded by her father shortly after World War I. She attended grade school

The Crookston Pirate Boys and Girls track and field teams opened up the 2025 season at the Heart Of Lakes meet at Concordia College in Moorhead.
