The KROX/Drafts Sports Bar and Grill Athlete of the week is Nolan Dans, a 120-pound junior on the Crookston Pirate Wrestling team.  Nolan has had a perfect start to the season going 10-0 while wrestling at 120 and 126 pounds.   Nolan won both of his matches in the Border Battle with an 8-0 and 15-0

HOLIDAY LIGHTS GO UP AT MAIN STREET COURTYARD WITH HELP OF CROOKSTON FIRE DEPARTMENT

Crookston firefighters Chris Klawitter, Bob Magsam and Garett Bengtson used the ladder truck to hang lights Thursday morning from the evergreen tree downtown in the Main Street Courtyard space. They’re assisting the Crookston Rotary Club, who acquired lights during Otter Tail Power Company’s Holiday Light Exchange, to help spread Christmas/Holiday cheer.
