FIREARM DISCHARGED INSIDE GRAND FORKS APARTMENT

On January 22, at approximately 11:38 a.m., Grand Forks Police were notified of a discharge of a firearm within an apartment.  The renter of the apartment notified police that she had mishandled a shotgun inside the residence when a round was discharged.  The round went through the apartment floor and traveled into an unoccupied area
