CROOKSTON REDS SHUTOUT MOORHEAD

The Crookston Reds Amateur Baseball team scored in the top of the first inning and had an outstanding pitching performance from Blake Karas to beat the Moorhead Miners 4-0 in a game played in Moorhead. ZACH BROWN WRAPS UP JR. NATIONAL DUALS

Zach Brown of Crookston was wrestling for Minnesota 2 in the Junior National Duals in Tulsa Oklahoma and he went 3-2 in his matches.  Zach didn’t wrestle in a 43-27 loss to Washington in the first round.  In the second round, Zach lost a 10-7 decision and team Ohio beat Minnesota 33-32. CROOKSTON 10U BASEBALL WINS TOURNEY

The Crookston Park and Rec 10U Baseball team has had a good summer and that continued this weekend with a first place finish in their own tournament at the Highland Complex.  Crookston went 3-1 in the tournament and beat Warroad in a true championship game to win the tournament.  Last weekend, Crookston finished second place
