MIDCONTINENT COMMUNICATIONS GIVES DONATION TO THE DAC

The Polk County DAC received a grant for $2,000 from Midcontinent. The Polk County DAC serves 83 people throughout western Polk County. Many individuals attending the DAC are challenged with communications and is easily understood by others. This grant will assist individuals with proper pronunciation through the use of a tablet and a communication program.

PIRATE WRESTLING COMPETES IN FIRST DAY OF BIG BEAR TOURNEY

The Crookston Pirate Wrestling team is competing in the 39-team two-day Big Bear tournament in Cass Lake and the only wrestler advancing to Saturday will be Zach Brown at 113 pounds. Crookston is in 27th place out of 39 teams with Detroit Lakes leading after the first day.  Brown went 3-0 on the day and will
