UMC Athletics Hires Assistant Softball/Soccer Coach

The University of Minnesota Crookston athletic department announced the addition of Jordan Young as assistant soccer and assistant softball coach. Young was an NCAA Division III goalkeeper at Grinnell College in Iowa, and was also an assistant coach for the Pioneers. Sheriff’s Office Responds to ATV Accident

On Monday, August 20 at 3:02 p.m., the Polk County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a report of an ATV accident in Knute Township (between Mentor and Erskine). When Deputies arrived on scene, they found two juvenile occupants in a Polaris RZR. The passenger complained of leg pain and was later transported to Riverview Hospital
