The Warroad Warriors dominated the second half, beating the Crookston Pirate Football team 37-6 to spoil homecoming in a Section 8AA match-up in Crookston. 1st Quarter – Crookston received the opening kickoff and went to the ground to start the game. Raymond Stromstad, age 93, died peacefully on his farm on September 30, 2023. Raymond was born on June 30, 1930 in Crookston, Minnesota. He was the son of Theodore and Helen Stromstad. The Crookston High School held its annual Color Wars Day on Thursday in honor of homecoming week. Each grade was assigned a color to wear and decorated their hallway and locker room area with balloons, streamers, and other items in the color assigned.
