Janie Regan won the KROX Radio Crookston High School Pick the Score contest. Throughout the week, KROX gave listeners a chance to pick the score of the homecoming game against Warroad.  Janie picked Warroad to win the game 34-6, three points away from the actual score of 37-6. CROOKSTON PIRATE FOOTBALL FALLS TO WARROAD ON HOMECOMING

The Warroad Warriors dominated the second half, beating the Crookston Pirate Football team 37-6 to spoil homecoming in a Section 8AA match-up in Crookston. 1st Quarter – Crookston received the opening kickoff and went to the ground to start the game. Carter Coauette had a carry for two yards, and Lionel Luna carried four yards.

Raymond Stromstad, age 93, died peacefully on his farm on September 30, 2023. Raymond was born on June 30, 1930 in Crookston, Minnesota. He was the son of Theodore and Helen Stromstad. Raymond grew up on a farm in rural Beltrami, Scandia Township. He attended grade school at White Dove country school and later attended
