Edith M. Danielson, 94, of Euclid, MN, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at Woodside Village in Grand Forks, ND. Edith Marie Schulz was born April 10, 1929 in Euclid, MN to Walter and Lena (Nielsen) Schulz. She grew up near Euclid, where she was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Euclid.

Railroads, rail shippers, cities and counties are encouraged to apply for up to $9.6 million in available grants for projects that will improve freight rail service that supports economic development, the Minnesota Department of Transportation announced today. The funding is available through the 2023 Minnesota Rail Service Improvement Program. Applications are due by 5 p.m.
