On Thursday, October 5, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received numerous reports of citizens receiving calls from a 218-877 phone number. The caller claims to be a Deputy with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and claims the person they are calling has a warrant out for their arrest and requests payment to satisfy the warrant.

CROOKSTON PIRATE GIRLS TENNIS AT STAPLES-MOTLEY CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN

The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Tennis team was scheduled for a big matchup today against a top-10-ranked Staples-Motley. The teams started the duel and did finish a couple of the matches, but the rest of the contest was rained out. Crookston is 13-5 on the season and will await their seeding in the Section 8AA tournament.
