The Crookston Diocese and Bishop Michael Hoeppner have placed Father Bryan Kujawa on administrative leave for his conduct, including “boundary violations,” according to a statement from the Diocese. The conduct is described as non-criminal and non-sexual in the statement.
Kujawa will remain on leave until the diocese has completed its investigation, conducted a professional assessment and gotten recommendations from its review board. Kujawa, a Crookston High School graduate, is assigned to St. Philip’s Church and the Holy Spirit Newman Center in Bemidji.
