BRITTNI JOHNSON NAMED RIVERVIEW HEALTH EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Not only do Brittni Johnson’s directors and co-workers sing her praises at RiverView Health, where she has been a physical therapist for four years, but her patients are also quick to share the results of her exceptional services every chance they get. Therefore, it’s no surprise that she was recently named the Employee of the Month of April.

Brittni works with patients in RiverView’s Rehab Services Department and Home Care. Credited with building a powerful wound care program, she’s recognized by patients for helping to heal wounds others could not. Patients use "miracle" and "gift" to describe her abilities. With only so many hours in a day, Brittni said she is sad to be scaling back in her Home Care role but excited to have more time to expand her wound care caseload.

A Thief River Falls native and current resident, Brittni and her significant other, Brian, have a one-year-old daughter, Aida Rae, and two cats, Figaro and Oscar. In her free time, Brittni enjoys spending time with Aida Rae and her numerous nieces and nephews; fishing, swimming, and having bonfires at their Upper Red Lake cabin; and summers of softball.

“I want to express my gratitude to RiverView in its entirety for consistently providing support and encouragement,” she shared. “As a past travel therapist, I have worked within many different facilities in multiple settings. Without a doubt, I can confidently say that RiverView is the best place I have ever worked. Despite the daily hour-long commute, working for RiverView is unquestionably worth it!”
