Many students cannot afford the school supplies necessary to succeed at school. To address this need, C&M is holding its second annual school supply drive in six area Minnesota and North Dakota communities, including Hallock, Lancaster, Karlstad and St. Thomas, Drayton, and Grafton. Bins are in place in drop-off locations in each community. Collections will be accepted from July 1 to August 15. The items will be collected and dispersed equally to area schools. Suggested donations include glue bottles, glue sticks, colored pencils, scissors, notebooks, folders, backpacks, paper plates, pencils, rulers, markers, crayons, folders, Clorox wipes, and erasers.
Drop-off locations are as follows:
Lancaster: Family Foods and T&B Hardware Store
Hallock: Farmer’s Store and Gullander Hardware
Karlstad: Karlstad Korner and Hardware Hank
St. Thomas: Northdale Oil and St. Thomas Cafe
Drayton: Koda Bank and J&D’s Riverview Market
Grafton: Choice Financial Bank, Bremer Bank and Shopko
