MN REPORTS 28 COVID-19 DEATHS, 992 NEW CONFIRMED CASES, 2 IN POLK COUNTY

The Minnesota Department of Health is reporting 992 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 153 probable cases from antigen testing, and 28 deaths. The confirmed cases were found in 41,032 completed tests for a 2.4 percent. Kittson County had 3 confirmed cases, Polk County-2 cases, and Lake of the Woods County-1 case. The Crookston Fire Department responded to the following calls on 1/28/2021: At 6:38 p.m., the CFD responded to the 500 block of Strander Ave for an alarm activation. Upon arrival, smoke was present in the building. CFD gained access to and ventilated smoke from the building. Once deemed safe, CFD turned over to the business
