HOLIDAY LIGHTS GO UP AT MAIN STREET COURTYARD WITH HELP OF CROOKSTON FIRE DEPARTMENT

Crookston firefighters Chris Klawitter, Bob Magsam and Garett Bengtson used the ladder truck to hang lights Thursday morning from the evergreen tree downtown in the Main Street Courtyard space. They’re assisting the Crookston Rotary Club, who acquired lights during Otter Tail Power Company’s Holiday Light Exchange, to help spread Christmas/Holiday cheer.

USDA EXTENDS DEADLINES FOR DAIRY MARKET COVERAGE, MARKET FACILITATION PROGRAMS

Due to the prolonged and extensive impacts of weather events this year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today extended the deadline to December 20 for producers to enroll in the Dairy Margin Coverage (DMC) program for the 2020 calendar year. Isaac James Sauve, 18 of Ada, for misdemeanor obstructing the legal process by interfering with a peace officer. Released to another authority.
