UMC STUDENTS INSTALL SENSORY PATH DESIGNS AT CASTLE PARK, CAMPUS HOSTS TWO GUEST SPEAKERS
Students in the landscape installation class installed their sensory path designs at Castle Park in the past two weeks. They coordinated this effort with Kirsten Fagerlund at Polk County Public Health and Amanda Lien. Sensory paths are designed to help kids with sensory processing disorders and those learning how to be mobile on different surfaces.

PLANNING COMMISSION MEETS ABOUT CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, REVIEWS PLANS ON TWO PIECES OF LAND
The Crookston Planning Commission met on Monday night and had just one action item setting some conditions for a conditional use permit for 122 West Fletcher. The conditional use permit request is for a ground-level handicap apartment in what is zoned as the business district (C1). The building currently has two ground-level apartments in it,
