Arrest/Fire Report – Tuesday, September 10, 2019

FIRE CALLS – At 11:27 Monday morning, the Crookston Fire Department was called to Highland Elementary School to investigate a smell in a classroom. Their monitors showed no hazardous gasses present; they located the source of the smell and turned the matter over to maintenance.

LAPLANTE QUESTIONS SUPPORT OF EPITOME ENERGY DURING CROOKSTON FORUM

The Crookston City Council met on Monday night and during the Crookston Forum, a portion of the meeting for individuals to address items not on the agenda, Brian LaPlante questioned why the City of Crookston was encumbering funds to support Epitome Energy, LLC when they had been involved in an equity drive for several months.

The Crookston Kiwanis welcomed new member Hunter Plante last week.  He is the Assistant Marketing and Communications Director in the Athletic Department at the University of Minnesota Crookston.  He membership was sponsored by Stephanie Helgeson.
