Arrest/Fire Report – Tuesday, May 21, 2019

Fire calls: At 9:53 Monday evening, the Crookston Fire Department responded to a report of a grass fire in a ditch in the area of Sections 23 and 24 in Crookston Township. On arrival nothing was found, so the report was either in error, or the fire burned out before they got there.

PARK BOARD GETS OUTDOOR RINK UPDATE, AWARDS GRANTS AND TOURS PARKS

The Crookston Park Board met on Monday night at City Hall.  The agenda included one item and a bus tour of the city’s parks.  An item that was not on the agenda was an update from Parks and Recreation Scott Riopelle on the outdoor rink plans for Alexander Park that the board approved in April.
