SCHOOL BOARD WILL CONSIDER DISCONTINUING HOCKEY CO-OP WITH FISHER

The Crookston Public Schools Long-Range Planning Committee met on Tuesday night.  The only action taken by the committee was to forward consideration to discontinue the co-op with Fisher School for girl’s and boy’s hockey.  Activities Director Greg Garmen told those attending the meeting that the hockey numbers are expected to be strong in girls hockey

HIGHLAND ELEMENTARY STUDENTS FLEX ENGINEERING SKILLS WITH TRUSS TEST

All the results are in from testing the trust bridges built by sixth-grade students in Dan Halland’s class.  It would definitely seem there are some future engineers over at Highland Elementary School. CROOKSTON POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS ONE TRANSPORTED FROM ACCIDENT MONDAY

The Crookston Police Department responded to an accident on Monday, May 13 at 6:56 p.m. along University Avenue.  The accident occurred between a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am, driven by Kiel Auck of Crookston and a 2015 Freightliner, driven by Terry Penner of Moorhead.  Auck was transported via ambulance to RiverView.  The Pontiac had severe damage
