IRISHMAN’S SHANTY WINS THE RIBFEST COMPETITION

The Irishman’s Shanty won the 2024 Crookston Lions Ribfest winner at the Crookston Sports Center on Thursday evening.  Erickson Smokehouse Bar & Grill of Fertile, Sidestreet Bar & Grill of Fertile, and One & Only of Euclid all tied for second. DEBBIE KOPECKY FINDS THE 2024 OX CART DAYS MEDALLION

Debbie Kopecky of Crookston found the Ox Cart Days Medallion on Thursday afternoon.  Debbie loves puzzles and prides herself on being able to solve them.  Kopecky said she found the medallion out by the corner of what once was a bread store just past Happy Joe’s and The Museum.

PARTY AT THE POOL WAS A SPLASH

This afternoon, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 the community was treated to a free afternoon of swimming sponsored by Fin & Fit of Crookston. This event, part of Ox Cart Days fun was intended to get people out and spend time at the beautiful pool Crookston has.  The doors were open to the outside patio
