The Crookston Youth Basketball Association held its annual CYBA Tournament this weekend and had over 80 teams compete.  Dave Emanuel of Wildfire Photography took some pictures of a few Crookston teams.  The pictures are below.

CROOKSTON PIRATE DANCE TEAM HANDS OUT AWARDS

UMC BASEBALL BEATS CONCORDIA-ST. PAUL IN 2 EXTRA INNING GAMES

The University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles Baseball team beat the Concordia-St. Paul Golden Bears 4-1 and 5-4 in two extra-inning Northern Sun Conference games played in Sioux City, Iowa.   GAME ONE – The first game was a pitcher’s duel.  UMC scored first with an unearned run in the top of the second inning.

SACRED HEART ENDS HISTORIC SEASON AS CLASS A STATE TOURNAMENT CONSOLATION CHAMPIONS

SPORTS FEEVER – March 24, 2022

Welcome to the world-famous Sports Feever column.  Well…..that is what my mom says anyway. KROX Radio is covering the Minnesota State Boys Basketball tournament for the 59th year this year.  Jerry Dahlberg, Frank Fee, and myself have combined to cover all 59 of those with several other announcers mixed in.  Pretty impressive run for KROX.
