MSHSL WILL START CONTESTS/COMPETITIONS JANUARY 14

Winter sports contests and competitions under the sponsorship of the Minnesota State High School League may resume beginning Thursday, January 14, 2021, after updated information within COVID-19 Youth and Adult Sports was announced today by the Minnesota Department of Health. Included in the announcement was the release of a new document COVID-19 Sports Practice Guidance for Youth and Adults.   This new guidance and information is an important step as the League continues

UMC VOLLEYBALL SIGNS A PLAYER FROM NEBRASKA

The University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) volleyball program announced the addition of Layne Whaley (DS/Lib., 5-8, Ashland, Neb./Ashland-Greenwood H.S.). Whaley is the first signee for the 2021 class for the Golden Eagles. Layne Whaley (DS/Lib., 5-8, Ashland, Neb./Ashland-Greenwood H.S.) Whaley was a four-year varsity letter winner for Ashland-Greenwood H.S. She was an All-Omaha Area Honorable Mention selection.
