EGF VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS ROSEAU, ADVANCE TO SECTION CHAMPIONSHIP

The East Grand Forks Green Wave came up with big points when they needed them and beat the Roseau Rams 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 26-24) in the Section 8AA semi-finals (North Sub-Section Championship) played at Thief River Falls High School.  The trip to the section championship will be the first since 2008 for the Green Wave.

WINJUM AND GUNDERSON LOSE TWO TIGHT MATCHES AT STATE TENNIS

Crookston Pirate Girls Tennis’ junior duo of Halle Winjum and Emma Gunderson lost two extremely tight matches on the first day of the Minnesota State High School League Class A Girls Individual Tennis tournament at Reed-Sweatt Tennis Center in Minneapolis and were eliminated.  FIRST MATCH –  Winjum and Gunderson took on Allison Bluedorn and Keyana

CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL HOSTS 62ND ANNUAL FALL CHORAL FESTIVAL

Crookston High School was the host of the 62nd Annual Fall Choral Festival on Monday night inside the auditorium.  Participating school choirs were Crookston, Bagley, East Grand Forks Sacred Heart, East Grand Forks Senior High, and Lancaster.   The festival began in 1959 behind Garfield Reichert of Crookston, Don Danielson of East Grand Forks, and Bryant
