CEASON’S BAIT AND TACKLE WILL CLOSE DOORS FOR THE FINAL TIME ON SUNDAY

Ceason’s Bait and Tackle will close their doors for the final time Sunday, March 3.  Suzie Kaiser says she and her husband Ceasar are looking forward to the end. “Sunday will be our last day for selling tackle and bait out of here,” said Kaiser.  “We’ll be getting it ready for the next people to come in and run their business, whatever they are going to put in here.  We’ll have the month here for everyone who has bought fixtures and all that to come to pick up their stuff.  We’re kind of looking forward to getting to the end of it here.”

The Kaisers took their first Sunday off in 30 years during February and said it was nice not having to get up early or worry about getting outside to shovel the snow.  Crookston Hardware Hank has purchased the bait tank and will be adding that element to their business.  “They bought our bait tank so they’ll be taking that over,” said Kaiser.  “We’ll do an inventory of what is left here and we’ll see if they’ll pick that up or someone else.  They will be getting into the tackle and that out there also.”

The Kaisers wanted to make sure they thanked their customers and Crookston one last time for their support for the last 30 years.  “We just want to thank all our customers and the wonderful people of Crookston that supported us for the thirty years that we were in business,” said Kaiser.  “That’s one of the things were going to miss is our customers but we’ll see everybody around town and we’ll still be active in some other stuff.”
