The rain held off this morning and the Crookston Fire Department was able to host their Open House at the main fire station to wrap up Fire Prevention Week. Hundreds of people showed up throughout the morning to meet and spend some time with their local firefighters.
There was a variety of activities for kids to take in, including spraying a fire hose, getting to take a ladder truck bucket ride with a firefighter, station and equipment tours, as well as being able to try on a set of firefighting gear.
Parents were also able to sign up for a free in-home fire safety inspection. Pictures from the event can be found down below.
