CHS SENIORS MAKE FINAL PREPARATIONS FOR GRADUATION CEREMONY TONIGHT

The Crookston High School Seniors had their final day of school today and had a few events throughout the morning to help commemorate their last day.

The day began with a Senior and Faculty breakfast in CHS Commons at 7:30 a.m., where the seniors got to sit down with some of their favorite teachers and staff members to enjoy breakfast and each other’s company one final time as teacher and student.

The seniors then put on their caps and gowns and boarded two busses to Washington and Highland Elementary Schools to complete a “Senior Walk.” Where they were met with students lining the halls offering high-fives and well wishes to the older students and, to some, their older siblings.

The seniors then returned to the High School, where they went into the School Gymnasium and began rehearsal for their Graduation Ceremony later tonight with School Counselor and Graduation Coordinator Tara Klein. The class practiced their procession and how they would be receiving their diplomas with the CHS Band performing the processional music. After the rehearsal, the students were dismissed for the day.

The Crookston High School Graduation Ceremony will begin tonight, with the Commencement starting promptly at 7:00 p.m. Students are required to report to the High School to line up for the processional at 6:15 p.m. We will be providing a live stream of the Ceremony tonight on our YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/channel/UCattrK-ZPWAklAzuwvj8-hw and will have pictures of the Graduation Ceremony on our website later tonight.
