The CHS Speech Team competed this past Saturday at the Subsection 31A Tournament in Oklee, taking Second Place in the competition!
Emily Balboa took 1st place in Dramatic Interpretation and advanced to sections. George French took 1st place in Humorous Interpretation and advanced to sections. Samantha Rezac and Zara Baig took 1st place in Duo Interpretation and advanced to sections. Isaac Wandrie took 3rd place in Great Speeches and advanced to sections. Thor Harbott took 4th place in Discussion and advanced to sections. Grace Smith took 4th place in Serious Poetry Interpretation and advanced to sections. Shayla Azure took 6th place in Humorous Interpretation.
The team will now compete at the Section 8A Tournament on Tuesday, April 12th in Fosston.
