The old building, on 120 North Ash Street, may – or may not – be haunted, but for one night in October, there will be ghostly happenings. A Ghost Story Night will be held on Thursday, October 27, at the Carnegie Building on North Ash Street in Crookston.
Ghost stories will be told, and spooky tales read by local residents, with children’s stories from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with local and classic ghost stories being told from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Anyone with a story to share is welcome and to help set the mood, George French will play the antique pump organ.
The event is free and open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to wear a costume, and the Polk County Historical Society will provide Halloween treats for children.
