Today, Governor Tim Walz announced new restrictions impacting many Minnesota families. Congresswoman-elect Michelle Fischbach released the following statement:
“It is disappointing that once again, Governor Walz made unilateral decisions that will have a disastrous impact on small businesses and Minnesota families. After months of shutdowns and mandates, which have forced many restaurants and bars to close, this new move by Walz is guaranteed to deal an additional blow to this important industry. Many establishments in Minnesota’s Seventh Congressional District are at an additional disadvantage as folks can cross the border to the Dakotas. These small businesses have been working tirelessly to keep up with each new regulation and associated costs to ensure a safe experience for their staff and guests alike.
