The Crookston 4th Grade Girls basketball team went 2-1 at the East Grand Forks Tournament on Saturday and finished second place.
In the first round, Crookston beat East Grand Forks 31-13. Crookston beat Grand Forks 21-15 in the semi-finals. In the championship, Warren-Alvarado-Oslo beat Crookston 21-15. The girls are now 14-3 on the year and wil wrap up their season this weekend when they host the Crookston Youth Basketball Association tournament at sites throughout town.
Members of the team are Kaitlynn Klawitter, Zaelyn Normandin, Annie Kollin, Penny Smith, Keira Gudmundson, Emma Newquist, and Isabelle Beckman. The team is coached by Kalie Normandin and Karissa Beckman.
