CROOKSTON 8TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM WINS TRF TOURNEY

The Crookston 8th grade Girls Basketball team went 3-0 and won the Thief River Falls tournament on Saturday.  They were supposed to play Saturday and Sunday, but due to the blizzard warning for Sunday, they played the championship game at 9:00 p.m. at the Thief River Falls auditorium.

In the first round, Crookston beat Thief River Falls 27-10
In the second round, Crookston beat Lake of the Woods 36-25
In the championship, Crookston beat Goodridge-Grygla 31-14

Members of the team are Halle Bruggeman, Macy Fee, Katelyn Ringstad, Megan Hougen, Ella Kiel, Libby Salentine, Alexis Reinhart, Emma Gunderson, and Abby Borowicz.
