The Crookston American Legion Auxiliary, Nels T Wold Unit 20, honored local Veterans by placing wreaths at the four sites the Crookston Veterans Council honors on Memorial Day. Wreaths Across America is a National Program that places wreaths on graves in National Veteran’s Cemeteries. This year, those wreaths were placed on Saturday, December 13. Crookston Unit 20 chose to place wreaths locally and, because of the weather forecast, placed them on Thursday, December 11.
