CROOKSTON ARTIST SERIES TO HOST THE FOLK LEGACY TRIO OCTOBER 21

Kick back, relax, and enjoy music from the great Folk Era from the1950s to the mid 1970s when the radio played songs by The Weavers, The Kingston Trio, The Limeliters, Peter Paul & Mary, The New Christy Minstrels, The Brothers Four, The Chad Mitchell Trio, Tom Paxton, Judy Collins, Joan Baez, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon & Garfunkel, John Denver, and many more.

The Crookston Civic Music League Entertainment Series will be bringing The Folk Legacy Trio to the Crookston High School Auditorium on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 7 p.m.

The Folk Legacy Trio includes George Grove, formerly with the Kingston Trio for 41 years, Rick Dougherty, former member of The Limeliters and Kingston Trio for 25 years, and Jerry Siggins, former lead singer of the legendary doo-wop group The Diamonds for 27 years.
The Folk Legacy Trio has been hailed as “the living library” of music of the great folk era delivering songs from the 50s-70s with their signature dynamic vocals and instrumental arrangements.  You’ll enjoy their blended harmonies and guitar playing while listening to some of the most beloved songs ever written.
