On Sunday, April 21 at about 9:30 AM the Crookston Police Department received a report that a 14-year-old male had taken an unknown amount of pills and walked away from his home. After an initial search of the area, the Crookston Police Department requested additional help. The Crookston Fire Department, Polk County Sheriff’s Office and MN State Patrol assisted in locating the boy about an hour later. He was conscious and alert but was transported to RiverView Health by the Crookston Ambulance for an evaluation.
