The Section 8A Boy’s Hockey coaches had their seeding meeting today setting up the Section 8A Tournament. East Grand Forks garnered the top seed with the Crookston Pirates with six wins in their last seven games with some big Section wins gets the fifth seed and will play at Detroit Lakes in a Section Quarterfinal game on Thursday, February 22.
The seeds went like this:

10. Kittson County Central

Warroad is defending Section 8A Champions and finished 2nd at State last year, losing to Mahtomedi 6-5 in double overtime in the Championship
