CROOKSTON CENTRAL CLASS OF 1984 TO HOLD 40TH REUNION JULY 19 & 20, 2024

The Crookston High School Class of ’84 will be celebrating the past, present and future during their 40-year reunion July 19 and 20.

Committee members have been meeting at Scobey’s Pub and Grub (Crookston Inn and Convention Center) for the past few months to finalize the event schedule and work out the details. “We are pleased to announce that on Friday, July 19, around 5:00 pm, we will gather at Minakwa to kick off festivities,” said Steve Erickson. “The next morning, a 10 am tee time is planned, and we are hoping to get many classmates and their significant others/spouses to join in on the Golf Scramble. But not to worry If you aren’t a golfer, there will be other fun activities in the Clubhouse.”

Bev (Vanyo) Jamieson added that a Social is scheduled at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, to start a night of fun at Scobey’s Pub and Grub, “We will have food, live music, and an evening of reminiscing. We are also going to memorialize our beloved classmates who are no longer with us.”

The Committee asks for classmates to RSVP on the “Class of ‘84” Facebook page by June 15. “We wish to invite classmates and their spouses/significant others as well as all classmates who attended with us, even if they moved away,” said Kay (Stainbrook) Oien. “Once a classmate, always a classmate. Teachers, other school staff, and all friends of the Class of 84 from other years, please join us at Scobey’s on Saturday evening. You were a valued part of our lives, and we would enjoy seeing everyone.”
