The Crookston Area Chamber of Commerce regrets to announce the resignation of Executive Director Janelle Wald. Though we are sad to see her go, we are incredibly grateful for her leadership in the community of Crookston and wish Janelle the best of luck in her next adventure. Janelle’s last day will be on October 5, 2023. The Crookston Area Chamber of Commerce office will remain open during regular business hours through October 5, 2023.
The board of directors has been working diligently to build the chamber back to pre-covid times, which has undoubtedly been challenging. Much of the recent success has been due to the leadership of Wald. Over the last few months, the board has gained invaluable perspective and tools under the consultation of Wald. It will continue to progress in the upcoming weeks to forge a path that serves both our members while focusing on the mission of the Crookston Area Chamber- creating an environment that encourages business success while enhancing the quality of life in Crookston and our surrounding region.
