It’s that time of year again, to decorate our city with beauty and color! The Crookston Chamber and Visitor’s Bureau is sponsoring the Adopt-A-Basket activity in Crookston for the 11th year. Register for Adopting A Basket will begin April 22nd. Our goal this year is 80 hanging flower baskets.
If you would like to adopt a basket, you may choose this opportunity to memorialize or honor a loved one while adding beauty to our community. A list of sponsors and their memorials will be listed in the Crookston Daily Times newspaper and on KROX radio. The cost to adopt a basket is $65.00. This covers the costs of the plants and maintenance (fertilizer, labor for daily watering, etc.) You also have the option to purchase a small plaque to be out on the light pole with the names of the donor and their loved one for an additional $10.00.
